Excuse us while we slip into this silky scarfy thing we made from an abandoned cobweb in the house. (Well sorta. But what a dream it would be to knit with the homes that spiders leave behind?) Anyway, the process went a little more like this: we photographed the 🕸 in the most perfect, luminous afternoon light. Then we made cyanotypes of it with the photo negatives. After digitizing the cyano prints, we had them reproduced on charmeuse silk.
